VERDICT
MEElectronics M-Duo Dual Dynamic Driver In-Ear Headphone represents a very good combination of price, performance, and high build quality. Many IEMs are exaggerating lower frequencies in order to cater to mainstream tastes. M-Duo Dual Dynamic earbuds are different. They value accuracy and audio quality over first impression and “wow” factor. Anyone who is serious about music and wants to have a great experience should put these earbuds right at the top of its list since they easily rival even $200-$300 headphones and earphones from more renowned manufacturers.
If there is one company that produces a hit after hit – it would have to be MEE Audio. Their new dual dynamic driver earphones promise more of everything we loved about other models from this company.
Design
In terms of design, MEE Audio M-Duo Dual Dynamic Driver earbuds won’t win any awards. You can choose between black, gold, and red color variation, but that’s about it. They look more functional than stylish. They are definitely not ugly, but they completely lack any unique design characteristic that would make them stand out in the large sea of different headphones and earbuds.
Build quality
The construction of these earbuds centers on a durable metal case and Kevlar-reinforced rubble cable. The metal case is solidly built and you don’t have to worry about it break down on you after a few months of use, like you often do with other earbuds. These should last a very long time.
We like everything about the cable on MEE Audio M-Duo Dual Dynamic Driver In-Ear Headphones. It has an integrated microphone and remote for calls and media control on smartphones, tablets, and more. The sound quality it provides is very good and outside noise cancelation deserve a lot of praises.
During our testing, we were able to communicate even on the busiest street in our city without shouting or repeating what we said. The cable never tangles and the Kevlar reinforcement minimalizes microphonics and prolongs its life.
Sound
M-Duo is perfect for bass lovers. With a dedicated subwoofer and crossover, each driver is capable of reproducing a completely different part of the frequency spectrum. This means that these earbuds can at the same time produce a thundering bass and crystal clear highs.
In other words, you will not experience any frequency leak at all. It’s no secret that these earbuds are designed for bass heads. Bass-heavy music sounds amazing and so does everything else. The sound has a slightly warm coloring to it, which makes for a fun and enjoyable listening experience.
